Supercharge your life with regular exercise

You need to look at exercise correctly. Exercise should make you feel better before you look better.

Often we start training with the wrong motives, leading to unmet expectations, and we either stop exercising or have a lousy association. What are your reasons for exercising? Are you looking at exercise to make you look a certain way, or are you doing it to improve your mental and physical health? When we have the right motives for physical activity. More often than not, we do see changes in our appearance, but this should never be the primary reason for training.

Here are three motivators that will help you look at exercise not only for the outward appearance it can have on your body.

Exercise can improve your energy levels
We all know how often we drag ourselves to get through another day and need to rush to finish up those final few things before hopping in bed to have it all happen again the next day. Oddly enough, when we find ourselves in a situation like this, the first thing we throw out the window to free up some time and energy is exercise. We don't know that exercise helps the body deliver oxygenated blood and nutrients to our cardiovascular system. In return, this system works more efficiently, allowing us to get more done throughout our day. Let's start looking at exercise as an add-on that gives us the advantage of getting more done throughout the day.

Exercise can improve mood, memory, and mental health
Did you know that your memories become more stable, and your brain links your different memories during sleep? We often recommend you get sufficient rest before a big event. Exercise releases endorphins, our feel-good hormones that elevate our mood and reduce stress and anxiety. These two factors often are the leading causes of poor sleep quality. Exercise enhances our sense of well-being and helps us feel good; therefore, with an elevated mood, our sleep quality should improve and give us all the benefits in return. Supercharge your mental health and sleep with a good exercise routine.

Exercise fights against diseases
The statistics are scary, with cardiovascular disease being the leading cause of death globally. That means nothing else is killing people faster than this disease. Nothing, nada! In America, one person dies every 34 seconds from cardiovascular disease. If you had read through this entire post, at least three people would've died from cardiovascular disease in America alone! Exercise improves the muscles' ability to pull oxygen out of the blood, which takes the heavy workload off the heart to supply blood to the muscles. It also reduces the stress hormone that often burdens the heart unnecessarily.

According to the world health organisation, they recommend an adult get 90min of vigorous training per week or 150min of moderate activity. Once we start shifting our motives for training, we not only improve our overall life quality, but we also get to see some fantastic physical results.

So why wait? Regular exercise can supercharge your life.
Make the change!
